To help you configure the connection to your email accounts, Shift comes with Setup wizards for Gmail, Inbox, and Outlook. You get to set a name for the account and associate a color to make it more easily identifiable.
Note that, in each case, you need to authorize the Shift application to connect to and manage the email account. Once everything is configured, you will be able to switch between accounts within the Shift main window via the left side panel.
For advanced account configuration, make sure to navigate to the Settings panel: here you can change the avatar image, toggle the notifications and the unread badge or set the unread mode.
