CSS Peeper is a Chrome extension developed to meet the needs of web developers: the add-on integrates within the browser and extracts details about the CSS style used on any web page without making you go through the source code.

To deploy the CSS Peeper add-on, you need to navigate in the host application to the appropriate page in the Chrome Store and press the “Add to Chrome” button. The CSS Peeper icon will be placed next to the address bar, and you get to activate its panel with a simple mouse click.
Worth mentioning is that you can also configure a keyboard combination to launch the add-on panel: navigate to the Chrome extensions list, scroll to the bottom, and open the Keyboard shortcut panel.
Review the CSS style for each element present on the page
CSS Peeper is able to display general information about the current page, such as the size of the CSS file and the load time, the typography and body style used or the background. In addition, it can identify the colors present on the page and their code.
Furthermore, CSS Peeper will list the page assets, and if you click on them, the extension will automatically download them. You also have the option to export all the assets at the same time.
Keep in mind that if you select the respective element on the page, CSS Peeper can provide more extensive information related to the element size or typography (font size and style, alignment, spacing, and so on).
